Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Chennai (Arrival)

• As you arrive in Chennai, our representative will greet you and you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram (Mammalapuram) 

• After breakfast, get ready for a sightseeing tour of Chennai. Start with Fort St. George housing St Mary's Church, a Fort Museum, a Wellesley House and much more. Also visit the San Thome Cathedral built in the 16th century by Portuguese explorers. It flaunts a beautiful Neo-Gothic style of architecture.
• Leave for Mahabalipuram in the afternoon. On arrival, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram 

• After breakfast, start a tour of Mahabalipuram housing some remarkable 7th century architectural wonders. Visit Arjuna?s Penance, carved in the mid-seventh century. Also visit Five Rathas and Shore Temple, two remarkable examples of unique ancient architecture.
• Later, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 : Mahabalipuram - Tanjore (300 km / 6 hrs)

• After breakfast, start a road trip to Tanjore. On arriving Tanjore, check into your hotel and get ready to visit the famous Brihadewswara Temple. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to Lord Shiva.
• An overnight stay at the hotel in Kancheepuram.

Day 05 : Departure

• In the morning, you will be transferred to the international airport or railway station to board flight or train for your onward journey.
