Itinerary Details
Day 1 - Arrival in Kolkata
- As you arrive in Kolkata, our representative will greet you and you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel.
- Today you will spend the day on your own exploring the local markets, buying local artefacts and clothes and tasting delectable street food of Kolkata.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 - Kolkata
- After breakfast take a city tour of Kolkata to relish some landmark destinations of the city. Start by clicking some wonderful pictures on the Howrah Bridge. Visit the Victoria Memorial Hall built in the memory of Queen Victoria. Indian Museum, Dakshineshwar Kali temple, Maidan and Alipore Zoological Garden are other attractions on your itinerary.
- Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - Kolkata - Dimapur - Kohima
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Dimapur. On arrival, get ready to visit the ruins of the Kachari kingdom belonging to the 10th century. Next you will meet Ahoms, the locals of Kachari who still practice their cultures and traditions here.
- Leave for Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. This drive passes through steep forest area which gives you lots of excitement.
- On arrival, check into your hotel for an overnight stay
Day 4 - Kohima
- The day is dedicated to sightseeing in Kohima. Start by visiting Kohima War Cemetery, raised in the memory of soldiers who died during the Second World War. Next is the Bara Basti, the second largest village in Asia raised by Angami ancestors. Here you can spot beautiful looking traditional Naga houses. Your next attraction is the State Museum, displaying numerous Naga artefacts belonging to around 15 tribal groups.

Day 5 - Kohima - Khonoma
- After breakfast, take a road trip to the Khonoma village (2-hr). This village was once the base for Angami rebels who fought fiercely against British invaders in the Naga hills in 1879.
- Check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6 - Khonoma
- Enjoy an early breakfast and go out to relish local scenery. Walk around the village, interact with people, buy some local souvenirs and explore the rich wildlife in the forest around.
- Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7 - Khonoma - Kohima - Touphema
- After breakfast, get ready to visit the central part of the Naga Hills where Angami resides. Once you arrive here, check-in at your pre-booked hotel.
- Post lunch, spend some time relishing the green hillsides flaunting views of Myanmar.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 - Touphema
- After breakfast, take a stroll across the Angami and Renga villages who still maintain its rustic look and simple lifestyle. These tribal celebrate colourful festival filled with their music and dance performances.
- Dinner made in authentic Naga kitchen will be served around bonfire. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9 - Touphema - Kaziranga
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kaziranga national park. On the way, you will be greeted by flourishing green hills, plains of Assam, lush tea gardens and thick forest areas.
- As you arrive at the national park, check into your jungle lodge and enjoy rest of the day on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 - Kaziranga National Park
- This is an exciting day when you will be taken for a safari to the national park. The park is known for housing two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinoceroses. This world heritage site is blessed with rising elephant grass, marshland, and thick tropical moist broadleaf forests.
- Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 11 - Kaziranga National Park
- Today again you get an opportunity to partake in jeep safari at the Kaziranga National Park. You will cover a different region today for a whole new experience.
- Overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 12 - Kaziranga National Park
- Today you will enjoy two different safaris - morning and evening safari. You can decide between an elephant safari or a jeep safari. These safaris give you opportunities to explore the rich flora found at the park closely and spot animals like Bengal tigers, leopards, Indian muntjac, wild boar, and hog deer, etc.
- Overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 13 - Kaziranga - Guwahati
- Enjoy your breakfast and get ready for Guwahati. On the way, you will come across numerous tiny villages, tea gardens and thick jungles.
- On arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the places around on your own and shop at local markets.

Day 14 - Guwahati - Kolkata
- Get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Kolkata in the morning. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. You can go out to relish local food, shopping and attractions around.

Day 15 - Kolkata - DEPARTURE
- Transfer to the airport or the railway station to board a flight for your onward journey.
